About Rainbow Crafts Fife...
Who are we?
Rainbow Crafts Fife is a social enterprise organisation,
operating from Crosshill Business Centre near Lochgelly
Fife.
RCF was established as a company limited by guarantee
in April 1993 by a group of disabled people through
a Fife Council initiative. We are a registered Scottish
charity, index no SC 021426.
Rainbow Crafts Fife provides integrated employment
and volunteering opportunities for individuals with
a disability who might normally find it difficult to
access main-street employment. We also provide training
placements and work experience for similar individuals
and young people who have been excluded from main-stream
schools.
The company is managed on a day to day basis by Iain
Bentley, a volunteer director, one of the original founders
of the company. Iain is someone who has suffered a physical
disability through-out his life and therefore fully
understands the disadvantages that this presents.
